WiPSCE 2024 - 19th Conference on Primary and Secondary Computing Education Research - 16-18 september 2024

WiPSCE 2024 (the 19th WiPSCE Conference on Primary and Secondary Computing Education Research) will be held in Munich, Germany on 16-18 September 2024.
As the title suggests, WiPSCE is an annual academic conference that is dedicated to primary and secondary computing education research, held in-person in Europe. It’s a great opportunity to meet other researchers interested in implementing computing in school.
Topics include broadening participation, teaching approaches, attitudes to learning, contexts for learning and institutional aspects, all in the context of both AI and CS education. It's an ACM-in-cooperation conference and proceedings are published in the ACM Digital Library.
The Call for Papers is on the WiPSCE website, with the following deadlines:
- The deadline for full papers (6-10 pages), practical reports (4-6 papers) and short, work-in-progress, papers (3-4 pages) is 29th April (abstract - with full paper a week later).
- The deadline for poster papers (2-pages) is on 16th June.
ACM double-column format should be used for submissions - links are on the website.

Van 16 tot 18 september 2024 wordt in München WiPSCE 2024 (de 19e WiPSCE-conferentie over primair en secundair computeronderwijsonderzoek) gehouden. Deze jaarlijkse conferentie richt zich op onderzoek naar het informaticaonderwijs in het lager- en secundair onderwijs.
Je ontmoet er andere onderzoekers die werken rond het implementeren van informaticaonderwijs op school en kan een heleboel boeiende lezingen en workshops volgen.
Topics dit jaar zijn o.a. verbreden van participatie, onderwijsbenaderingen, attitudes ten opzichte van leren, contexten voor leren, en dit alles in de context van zowel AI- als informaticaonderwijs.
